3 words: GET A LIFE.

Too much awful fan art with overly large; heads, eyes, mouths, etc.. I personally find myself sifting through countless pieces of fanjunk as I try to find something with meaning. A piece of art found in the mind of the artist and not copied from someone else. I feel as though fan art is like having a cover band. Instead of being sued by the original author of the material, you gather fans, who despite any help remain both mentally and socially retarded. But anime fan-artists are like cover bands who call themselves 'Tribute Bands' to sound less like talentless 'musicians' and more like the actual band who put some thought into the project at one point or another.

You may be wondering why I'm actually writing about this, but I feel as though that the little cliques of anime fans and artists are ruining art. I'm not going to be a nazi about what art is or isn't and I won't enforce my ideals. Not to mention I won't sit here and troll against naysayers, but I must confess that there is nothing forcing the industry as a whole forward. Just more ways you can see awful renditions of an already mediocre art form. All I can say is, TRY SOMETHING NEW! Create your own form of art and if you can't, well then do something that makes you happy, and if this makes you happy, don't show the world, because the actual artists who try and make something new, are being drowned in the see of large eyes and untrue physiques.
